Qualifikationen

• MD or DO required; board certification/eligibility in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Surgical Critical Care.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical care across Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care.
• Respond to trauma activations and provide timely surgical consultations.
• Participate in scheduled Acute Care Surgery call coverage.
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, and intensive care services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Educate medical students, residents, and fellows through rounds, Grand Rounds, morbidity and mortality conferences, and other departmental activities.
• Participate in scholarly activities, clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development.
• Assist with development and implementation of clinical protocols, guidelines, and critical care pathways.
• Prepare abstracts and manuscripts for presentation and publication.
• Mentor junior faculty in clinical practice, leadership, and academic development.
• Maintain timely and accurate medical records and billing documentation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Division Chief, Department Chair, or Dean.
