Job summary

MedStar Health Baltimore is seeking board certified/board eligible general surgeons to join our growing Acute Care Surgery team, with preference for those who have completed acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care fellowships. Strong passion for emergency general surgery is encouraged.

The ACS surgeons collaborate with residents and advanced practice providers to manage inpatient and follow-up care, ensuring multidisciplinary care while taking home call.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible general surgeons sought for ACS team.
• Fellowship in acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care preferred.
• Passion for emergency general surgery and collaborative practice requested.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients acutely on the ACS team.
• Manage inpatient and follow-up care with residents andAPPs.
• Provide outstanding multidisciplinary care while taking on-call duties.
