Job summary

MedStar Health Baltimore is seeking board certified/board eligible general surgeons to join our growing Acute Care Surgery team, with preference for those who have completed acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care fellowships. Strong passion for emergency general surgery is encouraged.

The ACS surgeons collaborate with residents and advanced practice providers to manage inpatient and follow-up care, ensuring multidisciplinary care while taking home call.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible general surgeons sought for ACS team.
• Fellowship in acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care preferred.
• Passion for emergency general surgery and collaborative practice requested.

The MedStar Health Baltimore Integrated Surgery Department is seeking board certified/board eligible general surgeons with excellent clinical skills, enthusiasm, and collaborative spirits to join our growing Acute Care Surgery team.

Those who have completed acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care fellowships are preferred, but we strongly encourage applications from all general surgeons with a passion for emergency general surgery.

The current acute care surgeons are well regarded by all and are eager to add outstanding surgeons to our team!

What You'll Do

• Surgeons on the ACS team have the opportunity to:
• Treat patients acutely
• Manage inpatient and follow-up care along with general surgery residents and advanced practice providers
• Ensure they receive outstanding multidisciplinary care while taking home call
