Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and observations.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans to improve communication and safe swallowing.
• Document evaluations, notes, progress, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Educate patients and families on goals, safety, home strategies, and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehab staff, and care managers to coordinate care.
