Job summary

Baptist Jacksonville, part of Baptist Health, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for Wolfson Rehab in Fleming Island/Jacksonville, FL. Full-time, day shift, with weekend/holiday coverage rotations and experience in acute care and Modified Barium Swallow studies preferred.

Required: Master's (or MA) in SLP, licensure as SLP, ASHA CCC, and BLS per AHA. Sign-on bonus up to $7,000; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies is strongly preferred.
• Must hold state licensure and national certification (ASHA CCC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
• Provides extensive patient/family education.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team care with rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory and support staff.
• Works in a fast-paced setting with strong time management, documentation in EMR, and clear communication.
