Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• License as Speech-Language Pathologist and CCC-SLP required.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) must be verified.
• Massachusetts licensure prior to start date expected for out-of-state licensed SLPs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience with MS Office and web-based applications anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriateness and extent of communication or swallowing disorder.
• Provide therapy and implement plan of care with ongoing collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Manage a defined caseload and complete administrative tasks (billing, time sheets, QA).
• Teach patients, families, residents and staff; provide clinical instruction to graduate students.
