Piedmont Newton Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with acute care experience. MBSS interpretation is preferred.

The role includes coordinating consultations, assessing patients and implementing therapy plans to maximize communication and swallowing outcomes. Responsibilities include supervising rehab technicians, students, and observers, and providing care across neonatal to geriatric ages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program.
• CCC-SLP certification (ASHA) required or in good standing.
• Georgia licensure required to practice.

Responsabilités

• Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with communication disorders and/or dysphagia; interprets assessment data; plans and performs treatment interventions to restore function and maximize potential.
• Cares for patients across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Supervises rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers; may orient and guide assigned staff.
