Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team. The Inpatient Acute Care RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The role supports Medical Surgical, Special Care Oncology, Advanced Joint Care Center, and Float Pool units.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
State licensure in Wisconsin or compact license.
CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery from a variety of medical or surgical conditions.
Administer intermittent and continuous IV medications and monitor condition changes, documenting in the EMR.
Plan, coordinate, supervise and provide care for clients across their lifespan within the well/illness continuum.
Assess basic physical, psychological and social needs of patients and their families.
Effectively plan patient care and implement the patient's plan of care.
Accurately evaluate patient health status in relation to outcomes of nursing interventions.
Provide patient/family education accordingly.
Adhere to infection control policies and participate in Quality Improvement.
