Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking Registered Nurses for the Adult Acute Care Unit in Biddeford, ME. The roles include care for complex adult patients with cardiac, pulmonary, GI, post-surgical, and orthopedic needs. New graduates and experienced RNs are welcome, with a yearlong nurse residency program for new grads.

Full-time night shift (1900-0700) options exist, with weekend rotation and self-scheduling. Eligible hires may receive sign-on bonuses; BLS is required and ACLS/PALS may be required for certain

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS and PALS required within one year for ICU/SCU/ED and PACU RNs.
• NRP certification within one year for OB/NICU per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Demonstrate competency and adapt to unit orientation and performance expectations for new graduates.
