Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Medical/Surgical Unit (MMC Biddeford). The RN will provide comprehensive care on a 40-bed unit, including cardiac monitoring and telemetry, with a yearlong nurse residency program for new graduates.

Night shifts (12 hours) are scheduled on a self-scheduling model, offering a supportive environment and opportunities for advancement. New graduates or RNs with less than one year of experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state license as a Registered Nurse; BLS required or within 30 days; ACLS/PALS may be required for specialty areas.
• Experience: New Grad or RN with less than 12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care on the Cardiac Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions and telemetry data.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
