Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• RN Residency or recently practicing in acute care setting is preferred.
• New hires include orientation and competency validation.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors adverse effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Educates patients and families on learning needs and resources.
