Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks a competent Registered Nurse to provide independent nursing care in a similar clinical setting. The RN will perform routine and complex care, plan long-range goals, and delegate tasks to other care providers as needed.

Responsibilities include administering medications per protocol, documenting patient information, and educating patients and families. Requires a BSN (preferred), BLS, and an active TX/compact RN license. Work schedule is 7AM–7PM, full time.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred for the role.
• BLS certification required for employment.
• RN license valid in Texas or under compact licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors effects and side effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided; delegates appropriately to other staff.
