Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks an experienced RN to provide competent, independent nursing care in a similar clinical setting. You will deliver routine and complex care, plan long-range goals, and delegate appropriately to other care providers to support clinical management.

New hires must meet credentialing expectations, attend orientation within 30 days, and maintain required certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC). Work shift is 7PM–7AM, full-time, on-site in Texas.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Uses nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses psychosocial, emotional, cultural and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
