Job summary

Christus Health seeks a registered nurse to deliver holistic nursing care in a clinical setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while administering treatments and documenting care. ACLS certification is required, and RN licensure must be active in the state of employment or compact.

BSN preferred with at least one year of related nursing experience. You will collaborate with the care team, educate patients and families, and participate in ongoing competency validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• ACLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation).
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitor side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on learning needs and available resources.
