Job summary

Community Hospital seeks a dedicated Acute Care Nurse in Palisade, CO. This full-time, in-person role provides comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment, from triage through discharge, with emphasis on patient safety and documentation.

Responsibilities include reviewing records, administering meds, and ensuring readiness of treatment areas. Relocation may be considered; wage is hourly with potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• RN License required to practice in Colorado.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• BLS certification with at least 3 months remaining before expiration.

Responsibilities

• Review patient's electronic records for orders and results.
• Provide emotional and physical comfort and safe nursing care.
• Assess from triage through discharge with ongoing evaluation.
• Maintain stocked, clean patient care areas and equipment.
• Respond to life-threatening situations per policy.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
