Job summary

PROMedica Fremont Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Acute Care department in Fremont, Ohio. The RN will coordinate patient care, interact with patients and families, and work with the health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans while upholding ProMedica’s standards.

The role requires an OH RN license, current CPR, and ongoing continuing education, with preference for a BSN. This on-site, day-shift position supports a 36-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the patient’s plan of care and communicate with patient, families and health care team.
• Assess and formulate nursing diagnoses; plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to reach patient care goals.
• Contribute to improving patient care, work environment and staff satisfaction.
