Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN is preferred and RN licensure is required in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a Virginia-licensed RN or hold a compact-state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on assigned shift (12-hour shifts for inpatient staff).
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop/intervene in care plans.
• Administer medications accurately and verify orders.
• Document care per hospital policy and participate in patient/family teaching.
• Lead and supervise LPNs/UAP as assigned; collaborate with Clinical Coordinator and Charge Nurse.
