Job summary

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care as part of the nursing team in Virginia. You will assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate care for patients while collaborating with physicians, families, and the care team.

The RN will work 12-hour shifts in inpatient units, administer medications, document care, and participate in discharge planning and quality initiatives. A BSN is preferred and VA licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in Virginia or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications and verify orders.
• Provide patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with Clinical Coordinator and Charge Nurse.
• Document care per hospital policy and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and infection control.
