Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct patient care in the Anschutz Pavilion, Aurora, CO. This full-time role includes nights and a 72-hour per two-week schedule, with hourly compensation depending on experience.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating care, coordinating with the care team, and educating patients and families. A valid RN license and BLS are required, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program; required licensure as RN.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (or equivalent) required; CPR as determined by position.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition; coordinate care across disciplines.
• Provide care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment.
• Educate patients and families; delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and independent action in fast-paced settings.
