Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will lead and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold patient-centered care and safety standards.

This role requires the ability to manage care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt to dynamic clinical needs. Active NV RN license and current BLS required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients).
• One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Education
