Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will lead and collaborate with the health care team, follow policies, and uphold patient-centered care standards; a BSN is preferred and Nevada RN license with BLS (and PALS or NRP as required) are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One (1) year full-time or three (3) years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
