Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care under a professional practice model in a Texas healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and evaluating patient responses.

You will also secure patient travel and address needs within the Texas Nursing Practice Act while delegating tasks by patient condition and team skills.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and must be in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification or able to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families while maintaining professionalism.
• Develop care plans reflecting patient values to resolve issues.
• Educate patients, families, nurses and community members on healthcare choices.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly with team members.
• Prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
