Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the unit, delivering high-quality patient care within our nursing practice model. The RN will diagnose patient responses to health issues and implement care plans accordingly, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.

The role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and nursing knowledge, with a focus on pain management, patient education, and collaborative care planning.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited course or have at least 2 years of experience surpassing the minimal qualification.
• Field of Study: nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is expected.
• Certification: BLS certificate now or within 30 days of starting in this role.
• Registered Nurse License

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient needs and implement, monitor and adjust care plans.
• Observe patients closely and support evidence-based changes.
• Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
• Report changes in patient conditions and modify care plans as required.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff.
