Competenze

• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
• RN license in Texas or compact required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required.
• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days.
• Residency or onboarding programs may be offered; competency validation is tracked.

• Uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) to provide care.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications and care provided.
• Addresses learning needs and provides education to patients and families or caregivers.
• Makes assignments and delegates to other care providers to manage clinical situations.
