• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE certifications preferred or required per position.
• New nurses orientation within first 30 days; on-boarding competency validation.
• RN residency or recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and evaluate outcomes.
• Address complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments via protocol; monitor for side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and resources.
