CHRISTUS Health in Mount Pleasant, TX seeks a competent nurse to practice in a similar clinical setting, functioning independently and delivering routine and complex care. The role involves planning, delegation, and long-range goals to manage contingencies in a clinical environment.

The position requires a BSN (preferred), RN license, and BLS. Experience in acute care is valued, with a 7AM–7PM schedule for full-time employment at OneCHRISTUS facilities.

Competenze

• BSN preferred
• BLS required
• RN license in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or caregivers
