Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care unit, full-time days. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and patient-centered care.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care onsite, maintaining detailed records and collaborating with the care team. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Nursing or ADN and an Ohio RN license at hire, with certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) to be completed within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Nursing or ADN from an accredited school, RN license in Ohio on hire.
• Certification: BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with other health care providers for best outcomes.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge.
• Support a culture of safety.
• Work hours per week as per offer letter; longer hours may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
