Qualifications

Current Illinois RN license is required.
ADN required; BSN preferred, and for hires/transfers on/after 08/01/2013, BSN must be attained within 5 years of hire/transfer date.
CPR and ACLS certifications required.
NIHSS certification within 3 months of hire.
Telemetry monitoring course needed at time of hire or within first three months.
Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing, PCCN or other nursing specialty desirable.
1-2 years of acute nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and plan care based on the patient’s status, plan of care, and goals.
Implement care with compassion, professionalism, and ethical practice.
Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust the plan as needed.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
