Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• For hires/transfers on/after 8/1/2013, must attain a BSN within 5 years.
• CPR certification required; ACLS within one year of hire or transfer.
• NIHSS certification maintained as required.
• Telemetry monitoring course completion at time of hire or within first 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients’ status, plan of care, and goal achievement.
• Provide care in a compassionate, professional, ethical manner based on the Caring Model and Rush Copley policies.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and seek guidance when necessary.
