Job summary

Perham Health in Perham, MN is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide leadership and total patient care across a shared unit. You will assess patients, develop care plans with the care team, and coordinate services to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires MN RN licensure, strong communication in English, and the ability to build relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. Full-time, rotating 12-hour shifts with weekends and holidays included.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota.
• The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with patients and families, peers, physicians and other health care professionals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Works in a combined unit of medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, nursery, and swing bed patients.
• Performs assessments and provides care to patients of all ages in order to develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other health care providers.
• Coordinates services and interventions identified in care plans.
• Evaluates the patient's response to, and progress toward, their optimal patient experience and outcomes.
• Is committed to patient and family centered care.
