Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registry Occupational Therapist for acute care with casual days. The role focuses on administering OT evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring safe discharge planning for adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, ongoing assessments, documentation, and supervision of students and assistants, all within regulatory and ethical guidelines and the organization’s standards.

Qualificações

• Mandatory OT certification and IL license.
• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy if graduate before 2007; Masters in OT if after 2007.
• State licensure and regulatory compliance requirements.
• BLS certification requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Administers occupational therapy evaluations and develops collaborative treatment plans with patients.
• Restores function and prevents disability through ongoing assessment and interventions.
• Provides direct patient care for a substantial portion of hours.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations regularly.
• Designs and implements treatment plans.
• Participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Documents medical records accurately and timely.
• Supervises students and delegates tasks to assistants.

Bachelor/Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (pre-2007 exception)

Licensure: Occupational Therapy License, Illinois

Certification: Occupational Therapy Certification, AOTCB
