Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Acute Care in Salem, Oregon. This part-time (20 hours/week, Exempt) role focuses on evaluating and treating patients across neuro-trauma, orthopedics, neurology, medical/surgical, ICU, and stroke recovery within our Acute Rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Oregon or eligible to obtain license.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical experience in Acute Rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evidence-based evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical, speech therapists and care managers.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care with strong communication and customer service focus.
• Communicate professionally within the team and across departments.
