Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Rahway is a 34-bed long-term acute care hospital located on the 4th floor within RWJ University Hospital in Rahway. We offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week to support extended recovery.

The RN position provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, develops nursing care plans, and participates in discharge planning. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN license; BCLS certification is required, ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ADN or diploma).
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care.
• Develop and update nursing care plans in coordination with patient and family.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
