Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care in Bowling Green, Ohio. This on-site, full-time role covers day shifts, delivering evidence-based nursing care from admission to discharge and collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

You will complete required certifications (BLS/ACLS within 90 days; PALS for specific units; NRP for OB) and maintain Ohio RN licensure, with opportunities for growth in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio.
• RN license in the State of Ohio by time of hire (or by time of start).
• BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire (ED, PACU, Infusion).
• NRP certification within 90 days of hire (OB).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to improve outcomes.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Contribute to a culture of safety through prevention and preparedness.
• Fulfill shift hours as outlined and adapt to transfer requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
