Job summary

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, state license, BLS, and experience in acute care imaging, fluoroscopy and mobile imaging. Evening/weekend shifts with differential pay are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification and radiologic technologist license required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• Experience in acute care imaging and fluoroscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within time limits and assists students and junior staff.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
