Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and develop comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under supervision of Therapy Leadership. You will supervise patients and rehab staff in accordance with state practice acts.

Education required: DPT or equivalent; licensure in state; BLS certified. Preferred: 6–12 months of rehab experience with adults and elders. Mercy offers strong benefits and opportunities to grow within a caring, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Work in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
