Job summary

Mercy seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership. The role involves supervising rehab staff and ensuring compliance with state practice acts, Mercy Service Standards, and departmental policies.

The ideal candidate has a PT degree (BS/MS/DS), current licensure in the practice state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary PT licensure in state of practice.
• BLS certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy Service Standards.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy mission, values, and standards.
