Job summary

Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital in Winter Garden, FL, seeks a Physical Therapist to contribute to patient recovery with evidence-based care. The role focuses on restoring function, mobility and reducing pain through individualized plans and close collaboration with the care team.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, document progress and adjust goals as needed, while ensuring accurate billing and compliance with standards. Florida licensure and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy.
• Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida- Temporary permit acceptable.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, physician, and other sources.
• Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals.
• Demonstrates competency in the use, care and maintenance of profession-specific equipment.
• Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plan and goals when appropriate.
• Maintains complete documentation and accurate billing.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance per policy.
• Adheres to applicable laws, standards and hospital policies.
