Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to drive patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will assess functional status, formulate diagnoses and care plans, and work with families and the care team to discharge patients effectively.

The role includes clinical education responsibilities, supervision of aides and interns, and active participation in departmental meetings to advance practice. Eligibility includes MA licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master or DPT preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: MA licensure; AHA BLS or Heart Saver.
• Experience: 1–3 years preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsabilités

• Initiates patient care process upon written orders, including assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, and outcome-based care plans.
• Participates in walk rounds, verbal rounds and multidisciplinary conferences.
• Prepares daily charge records of treatments and supplies.
• Supervises/Directs PT Aides and PT Assistants as needed.
• Participates in staff meetings, education programs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Completes annual safety testing and departmental competencies.
