Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for a full-time/variable shift. The role involves filling and dispensing unit doses and stock medications, including oral and IV meds, while triaging orders and ensuring ADS integrity.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, Oregon tech license/certification, 1 year of hospital/system pharmacy experience with PTCB or 2 years without PTCB, and experience with ADMs and EHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician upon hire or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• 1 year minimum of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 2 years hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit doses and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
• Maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
