UPMC Cole is hiring a Patient Care Technician, CNA for the 3 Main Acute Care department. The role supports the nursing team with routine patient care, ADLs, vitals, and point-of-care testing in a full-time Day Shift.

The position requires CNA certification and may involve advanced skills as needed. Expect responsibilities including phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and telemetry support as directed by the RN or physician.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of UPMC PCT class.
• CNA certification required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to perform ADLs and basic medical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine patient care and ADLs under RN direction.
• Support department operations and safety initiatives.
• Document in the medical record according to procedures.
• Assist with tests and procedures (glucose testing, weights, vital signs, ECG, etc.).
