Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Patient Services Manager I to lead our inpatient dining team in an acute care setting.

You will hire and coach staff, ensure dietary accuracy, monitor patient satisfaction, and comply with regulatory standards while coordinating with clinical teams.

The role requires an associate or higher in food service, and preference for Certified Dietary Manager or RD credentials; strong MS Office and EMR skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year of experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field.
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food service management in an acute care setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, EMR, and diet office systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population.
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members.
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to meet patient needs within diet order guidelines.
• Ensures patient services staff helps achieve patient satisfaction goals.
• Complies with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting agencies) while protecting confidentiality and HIPAA.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, department meetings, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives.
