Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Acute Care for a full-time role (32 hours per week) on a day schedule.

You will evaluate patients, plan and implement occupational therapy interventions to maximize independence across diverse diagnoses, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Master's Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Coursework/Training: Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet department needs.
• Oregon OT License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities, aligning with individual functional levels.
• Performs patient evaluations and develops treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective care.
