Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled therapy in the acute care setting. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and promote independence across diagnoses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Oregon OT license upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
  • Eligible for state licensure and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled OT services to acute care patients with diverse diagnoses.
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to maximize independence.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document progress and communicate with caregivers and team members.

Occupational Therapist - Acute Care at Providence Milwaukie Hospital- Full-time (32 hours per week), Day Schedule

Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year

Manages and provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient’s special physical or age-focused needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Or
  • Master's Degree in From an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
  • Ph.D. From an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Or
  • Coursework/Training: Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Pay Range: $46.81 - $72.66
