Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist for PRN opportunities. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with ADL impairments, movement dysfunction and pain due to injury or illness, using functional activities and modalities.

The position requires a BS in Occupational Therapy, Texas OT licensure, BCLS, and either 1–2 years of experience or new graduate eligibility. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• BS in Occupational Therapy.
• BCLS certification.
• 1–2 years experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform functional assessments and develop plans of care.
• Treat patients using OT techniques, activities, and modalities.
• Document assessments and treatments the same day.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, technicians, students and volunteers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on discharge planning and equipment needs.
