Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a PRN Acute Care Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, and ensure delivery of prescribed OT services to patients in line with AOTA standards and Kansas state practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Currently Licensed as an Occupational Therapist.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Performs occupational therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice in the State of Kansas.
Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
Promotes innovative occupational therapy services and fosters professional development within the organization and the broader community.
Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
