Job summary

Baptist Beaches campus in Jacksonville Beach, FL, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Rehab Team. This part-time role offers coverage for at least 24 shifts per week with weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating adults in acute care, with some neuro outpatient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requires FL-licensed OT and BLS, with 1+ year acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Acute Care OT experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist from FL DOH required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients in an adult acute care setting.
• Provides minimal outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds.
• Works in a team environment with other OTs, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Provides ongoing patient and family education.
• Collaborates with hospitalists, physician specialists, nursing and social services.
