Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Rehab Team in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. This PRN position requires at least 3 day shifts per month and participation in weekend coverage.

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an acute care setting, working with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have relevant experience and necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must have experience in splinting, developmental therapy, and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an adult acute care setting.
• Provide minimal outpatient care for neuro patients and wounds.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team in an acute care environment.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and physician specialists.
