Job summary

Baptist Health Beaches is hiring a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville Beach, FL. You will evaluate and treat adults in an acute care setting, collaborate with therapists and hospital staff, and provide patient and family education.

Required is a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, FL OT license, and BLS certification. Prior acute care experience is preferred. This role offers meaningful work with a supportive, faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Licensed OT in Florida is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats adults in an acute care setting.
• Provides minimal outpatient care, mainly neuro and upper extremity wounds.
• Works with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and hospital staff.
• Provides ongoing patient and family education.
• Collaborates with hospitalists, physicians, and nursing teams.
