Job summary

A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, FL licensure, and BLS are required, with 1+ year acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist with Florida DOH registration required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 1+ year acute care OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats adult patients in an acute care setting.
• Provides minimal outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds.
• Works with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and hospital staff.
• Delivers ongoing patient and family education.
• Collaborates with hospital teams to support Rehab Services.
